Recycling

​Recycling Bin is for:

Paper, card, cardboard, including large brown corrugated cardboard. Please ensure it is not jammed in the bin and cut it up if necessary.

Plastic Bottles only i.e. milk, juice, pop, water, shampoo, cleaning products etc. - not plastic packaging, plastic film or cartons, these should be placed in the general waste bin.

Tins, cans and empty aerosols i.e. drinks cans, food tins, deodorant aerosols

All material in the recycle bin should be put in loose and not in bags so it can be sorted easily at the recycling plant. If the material is taken to the bin in a bag for convenience, then please tip the items in, you can then reuse the bag or simply put it in the general waste bin.
